What We Prohibit

Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else, including other users, public figures, or Chat Video staff.

Spam and Scams: Unsolicited advertising, phishing, pyramid schemes, or attempts to defraud others.

Illegal Activities: Promoting or facilitating illegal goods, services, or activities.

Privacy Violations: Recording conversations without consent, doxxing, or sharing others' personal information.

Underage Use: Users must be 18 or older. Do not misrepresent your age.

Platform Misuse: Attempting to hack, manipulate, or disrupt Chat Video services; using automated systems or bots.

Enforcement Actions

When violations occur, we may take actions including:

• Warning: Notification of violation with request to correct behavior.
• Temporary Suspension: Removal from the platform for a specified period.
• Permanent Ban: Immediate and indefinite termination of account and all associated data.

Severity of action depends on violation nature, history, and risk to community safety. We may also report illegal activities to appropriate authorities.

Reporting Violations

If you witness policy violations, please report immediately. During any chat, click the menu icon and select "Report." Provide as much detail as possible—username, date/time, description of what happened. All reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team.

Appeals Process

If your account is suspended or banned, you may appeal by contacting [email protected] within 30 days. Include your username, the action taken, and why you believe it should be reversed. Appeal decisions are final. Reinstated accounts are monitored closely for compliance.

Updates to Guidelines
